Four Points for Four Time Paradoxes

I actually had this dream a few days ago, but I’m just now putting it in my Journal.

I dreamt I was spying on someone. Following them around on foot. I forget the reason. Anyway, I crept up close to this small white house and hid behind some bushes. I noticed a couple out in front of me, a fat man and an attractive woman, and I thought, “That guy’s shirt looks awful familiar.” Then he peered behind him, and I realized, “That’s me!” It’s true… I was looking at another version of myself, wearing a familiar blue pin-striped shirt. I realized I must have stumbled onto some sort of Time Paradox! This was either a version of myself from the past, or from the future.

Then I looked behind myself, and I could see another “version” of the same couple: myself with the same attractive woman. I looked further back, and there were multiple copies of this couple, stretching on back and back, each spying on the one in front, going to what seemed like Infinity. I started to freak out. I stood up, uncaring if any of my replicas saw me or if it created a Time Paradox, and shouted, “What’s going on? Is time all messed up or what?”

Suddenly, the sky went black. A huge Scoreboard like what you might see in a Baseball Game appeared in lights overhead. The numeral “4” appeared in one of the boxes. “Congratulations, Team!” a booming voice shouted, “You have created four time paradoxes! You score four points. Prepare for a reboot.”

Then, suddenly, I became one of the previous copies of myself, with the attractive woman by my side. She looked like she was in her twenties. We warped into some alternate dimension and had mind-blowing, oiled-up sex while spinning around and celebrating our victory. I realized then that I could never trust “consensus” reality again… life was a game, with the entire goal to create time paradoxes, and no conception of what “true” existence underlay it all.

I woke up seriously doubting whether it had really been a dream or not.
