- When I went to take Delbert out for lunch for his birthday, the power was cut.
- I found out from people around there that apparently somebody had “hit a transformer.”
- I had visited a retail outlet where someone had “hit a transformer” in Lexington awhile back.
- When I got home, I took a nap to attempt to relieve my paranoia.
- When I awoke I found out that somebody had knocked over our mailbox.
- When I went to Wal-Mart, I found that the power outage was for the entire shopping center.
- Apparently the outage was due to a “Dollar General” truck knocking over a main pole.
- There is no Dollar General store near Wal-Mart.
- A deli worker in Wal-Mart told me the repair was “temporary” and may happen again later tonight.
- When I got home, Internet service was out.
- Calling Charter Communications, the automated system reports an “outage in my area.”
- After reaching a tech, he is unaware of any outage in my area.
That’s it. I’m going to lay down now.
